My Approach
As a therapist, I prioritize meeting clients where they are, honoring their inherent dignity and the unique wisdom they bring to their lives. My approach blends faith-based values with professional expertise, customized to each client’s needs. I work with individuals across all ages and provide individual, couples, and family therapy, considering the dynamics of the whole system to address challenges and promote healing.
There are many layers to starting therapy and finding a therapist who feels like the right fit. I lead with kindness and compassion, striving to create a space where those I work with feel comfortable, safe, and valued as we explore private and sensitive aspects of life. My goal is to create an environment where clients feel respected and supported while working toward meaningful growth and healing.
Who I work with
I work with children, teens, and adults, and I also support couples and families. My work often involves helping clients navigate depression, grief, trauma, and relationship challenges.

I often work with individuals or families who want to better understand their relationships, process difficult experiences, and strengthen their emotional connections with others.
How I work
I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches including attachment-based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emotionally focused therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, narrative therapy, play therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, structural family therapy, and trauma-focused therapy.

I tailor these approaches to each client’s needs and goals, often focusing on strengthening relationships, building coping skills, and increasing self-understanding.
Getting Started
I offer therapy both in person and online through Grapevine Clinical in West Des Moines.
