My Approach
I am a bubbly and chatty clinician who brings warmth and authenticity into the therapy space. My approach is conversational and client-centered, and I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts and emotions openly. With a down-to-earth style, I focus on building strong rapport and trust so you feel comfortable being yourself in session.
I primarily draw from cognitive-behavioral and dialectical behavior techniques, incorporating practical, solution-focused strategies to help you navigate stressful situations. I offer empathy, validation, and practical insight, along with a bit of humor, because growth feels more possible when you feel supported and understood.
Who I work with
I work best with individuals navigating life stressors and emotional overwhelm when they need a supportive space to talk things through. Many of my clients come to therapy during chaotic or high-stress periods and benefit from processing their experiences while creating realistic, manageable steps toward change.
I also frequently work with individuals who suspect they have ADHD or who have recently been diagnosed. I enjoy providing psychoeducation, practical interventions, and coping strategies tailored to their daily challenges. Clients who appreciate a conversational, collaborative approach and are open to learning new skills tend to be a great fit for my style.
How I work
My work is rooted in collaboration and skill-building. While I offer space to process what feels most pressing, I also help clients identify patterns, share their thoughts and feelings, and develop practical strategies they can apply outside of session. I aim to balance emotional exploration with actionable tools, so clients leave therapy feeling both heard and equipped.
I integrate cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), person-centered therapy, and solution-focused techniques depending on each client’s goals and needs. Together, we establish clear goals, check in on progress regularly, and adjust our approach as needed. When appropriate, I also incorporate safety planning to ensure clients feel supported between sessions.
In addition to my individual therapy work, I serve on the DBT teen group therapy team at Grapevine. I am currently pursuing a certification in Trauma-Informed Yoga for Therapy and completing advanced training in ADHD treatment to expand the tools and support I offer my clients.
Getting Started
I accept most major insurance plans and also offer private pay options. A sliding scale is available for clients who qualify. I provide both in-person and telehealth sessions to accommodate your needs. My availability is Monday through Friday, with appointments typically scheduled between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm. I generally offer later start times, but am happy to adjust when possible based on individual needs.
