My Approach

I believe that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all experience. Every person comes with their own story, strengths, challenges, and goals, which is why I strive to meet each client exactly where they are. My role is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to move forward at your own pace.

My approach is rooted in strengths-based, trauma-informed care, recognizing both the impact of past experiences and the resilience each person already possesses. Together, we'll build on your strengths while exploring practical strategies that support healing, growth, and meaningful change.

Because every individual is unique, I tailor the therapy experience to fit your specific needs rather than relying on a single approach. I draw from evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness techniques, thoughtfully integrating these approaches based on your goals, preferences, and circumstances. Whether you're seeking support through a difficult season, working toward personal growth, or developing new coping skills, our work together will be collaborative, flexible, and centered on what matters most to you.

I believe that meaningful change happens when clients feel safe, respected, and understood. My goal is to provide a therapeutic relationship where you feel supported in discovering your strengths, building resilience, and creating lasting, positive change in your life.

Who I work with

I work with children, adolescents, adults, and couples who may be facing life's most difficult seasons. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, substance use, grief and loss, or feeling overwhelmed by life's challenges, you don't have to navigate it alone.

You may feel like you've lost sight of who you are, are carrying the weight of past experiences, or find yourself repeating patterns that no longer serve you. Perhaps you're grieving someone or something important, feeling disconnected in your relationships, or wondering if things can ever feel different. Whatever has brought you here, your experiences are valid, and healing is possible.

Together, we'll create a space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment, develop practical tools to manage life's challenges, and build on the strengths you already have. My goal is to help you feel more confident, connected, and empowered as you move toward the life you want to create—one step at a time.

How I work

Therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, compassion, and a genuine understanding of your unique experiences. I begin by getting to know you—not just the challenges you're facing, but also your strengths, values, and goals. Together, we'll identify what you hope to gain from therapy and create a plan that is thoughtfully tailored to your unique needs and circumstances.

Because no two people are the same, I believe therapy should be just as unique as the individual seeking it. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, I adapt the therapeutic process to meet you where you are, honoring your pace, preferences, and personal goals. As we work together, I'll provide guidance, support, and practical tools that fit your life and help you build on your strengths. My goal is to help you gain insight, foster resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change in a way that feels authentic and empowering to you.
