Fun Fact:
When I am not working, you will find me in the garden, hanging out with my Goats and Chickens while they free-range, or reading a good book! I love to read thrillers and murder mysteries. My favorite book is Morning Glory, and my favorite movie is Legend, with Tom Cruise. After all, who doesn’t love unicorns?
My Approach
I believe that therapy is most effective when clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, with an emphasis on creating a safe, judgment-free space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. I value building a strong therapeutic relationship and helping clients recognize their strengths while developing practical tools to navigate life's challenges. My goal is for clients to leave sessions feeling supported, empowered, and hopeful.
Who I work with
I enjoy working with individuals across the entire lifespan—from young children to teens, young adults, adults, and older adults—from all backgrounds and walks of life. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, all life stressors. I strive to create a welcoming and inclusive space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. I value meeting each person where they are and tailoring therapy to their unique experiences, strengths, and goals.
How I work
My sessions are collaborative and tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. I use a person-centered approach as the foundation of my work while incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Sessions often include supportive conversation, skill-building, and practical strategies that clients can apply in their daily lives. I aim to balance empathy with gentle encouragement, helping clients build insight, resilience, and confidence as they move toward meaningful change.
Getting Started
I accept most insurances. I offer flexible scheduling to accommodate a variety of needs and schedules. Current appointment availability includes Saturdays from 9:00 AM–3:00 PM for both in-person and virtual sessions, as well as virtual sessions on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings from 5:30–8:30 PM.
If your preferred time falls outside of these hours, please reach out. I may have additional availability depending on the week and will do my best to find a time that works.
